CHALLENGE:
Associate themselves with a more hip and edgy crowd. Get adults 21-30 to sample Ravenswood Wine.
SOLUTION:
Tied in the Zinfomaniac Tour with Q101's staple summer concert, Block Party (acts featured: Queens of the
Stone Age, Sum 41, Unwritten Law, Interpol, Rise Against and more). Ravenswood Zinfomaniac Tour was the
'official' wine sponsor having exclusive sampling and selling rights in the wine category. Their mobile
unit not only featured a sampling aspect, but also included plasma screen tvs, models sampling the product
and photo ops. Ravenswood Zinfomaniac was promoted on-air via :10 spots naming them as the official wine
sponsor of Q101's Block Party 2005, they were included on our custom event webpage with a direct link to
the Zinfomaniac Tour website.
RESULT:
Successfully sampled and sold their product as edgier and hipper than the boring wine classes. Associated
themselves with the radio station and the concert event as a stepping stone to reaching the hip, trendy
adult 21-30.
