CHALLENGE:
  • Secure shelf space for new mousse product.
  • Gain incremental end-cap display space for all Veet Hair Removal products.

SOLUTION:
  • Created in-store merchandising program (2-week display secured) to create excitement for key account consumers: consumers were directed to Veet end-cap displays to register to win "Summer Spa Package"; each winner received $100 gift certificate to area spa and $25 gift certificate to area bathing suit retailer (one winner per store - total 110 stores).
  • Utilized radio to drive traffic to key account and encourage participation in consumer offer.
  • Secured in-store demos for product sampling and demonstration (new mousse product).
  • Provided turn-key program for key account (all POS, consumer offer management, sweepstakes prizes, etc secured by EMG Austin).
  • Downloadable Veet coupons were available on radio station website for redemption at key account.

RESULT:
  • 110% lift in sales for Veet products.
  • Received over 500 sweepstake entries.
  • Most successful sell-in for Veet to date.
