CHALLENGE:
In working with Brightpoint, Emmis Indy Radio discovered that Brightpoint was in the process of
developing their community involvement through a global diversity initiative. Emmis Community
Outreach worked with Brightpoint to identify local nonprofits whose objectives and mission matched
Brightpoint's community objective of diversity.
SOLUTION:
Through this partnership, Brightpoint was able to align itself with a different nonprofit each
month for volunteer opportunities and community involvement as well as on-air and online
promotions with Emmis Indy Radio. This campaign included partnerships with the Domestic
Violence Network, The Villages, Wernle, and many others.
RESULT:
The cooperation between Emmis Community Outreach and Brightpoint allowed the Indianapolis
community to be educated about Brightpoint's diverse involvement in the community while shining
the spotlight on the good work of several local nonprofits.
