Easter Seals Crossroads Assistive Technology Program |
CHALLENGE:
Easter Seals Crossroads is a community resource working in partnership with children and
adults with disabilities or special needs and their families to promote growth, independence
and dignity. In early 2007, Easter Seals Crossroads began opening Assistive Technology
satellite locations across the state and needed help educating Hoosiers about this important
resource available to disabled persons.
SOLUTION:
In April 2007, Emmis Communications began running a series of :30 second commercials on Network
Indiana, our state-wide radio network, and WIBC and WYXB in Indianapolis. These spots encouraged
Hoosiers to call an 800 number or visit a web site to set an appointment at one of the satellite
locations to learn more about the resources available through the Assistive Technology program.
The campaign was 3 months in length in concluded in June 2007.
RESULT:
Emmis Community Outreach, in partnership with Network Indiana, WIBC and WYXB was able to educate
the State of Indiana about the Easter Seals Crossroads Assistive Technology locations via 11,676
:30 second commercials that aired on a total of 65 radio stations across the state.
